Firm, clear, very slightly developed aroma of ripe, predominantly dark berries and a little cherry with herbaceous, floral and very slightly meaty flavours. Taut, juicy, tart, rather dark fruit, present, fine tannin and some bite, slightly smoky and roasted notes, a little juniper and pepper, plus roasted and bitter chocolate flavours, Mediterranean herbs in the background, persistent, has power, depth and also a certain freshness, very good, firm, tart-juicy and finely spicy finish. In top form.

Editor note: Translate to English Nussiger, recht tiefer, ein wenig tabakiger und zedrig-holziger Duft nach überwiegend schwarzen Beeren mit getrocknet-floralen und erdigen Noten sowie einem Hauch Jod und Blut. Fest und kräftig im Mund, wieder weitgehend dunkle Frucht, straffes, jugendliches, feinsandiges Tannin, leicht kakaowürzige, eher herbe Holzaromen, ein wenig Tabak und Asche im Hintergrund, gute Substanz und Nachhaltigkeit, eine Spur Salz, noch jung, gewinnt mit Luft an Frische, sehr guter, fester, herb-saftiger Abgang mit salzigen und röstigen Noten. Muss noch reifen.
