2017 Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly tobacco and moderate nutty-woody nose, predominantly dark berries, earthy and some herbaceous notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, mature tannins, herbaceous and spicy nuances, hint of citrus, delicate bite, good persistence, hint of licorice in the background, quite juicy on a good to very good finish.
