Editor note: Firm, somewhat toasty-woody-spicy, cedary and also meaty-animalic scent of black and a little red berries with notes of iron, iodine and blood as well as quite distinct herbal notes from Provence. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit with clearly bitter-chocolatey wood spice, some smoke, pepper and coffee, persistent and dense on the palate, ripe, youthful, fine tannin, a lot of power but also cooling elements, some salt and chalk in the background, a little tobacco, very good, still a trace bitterish and drying finish with dark juice and again a lot of bitter chocolate
