2006 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly muted nose, red and a few black berries, vegetal notes, soup greens, spicy earthy notes. Fairly mature fruit on the palate, elegant and juicy, vegetal notes, herbs and spices, buttery touch, medium-fine, slightly brittle tannins, earthy notes, not particularly deep, brittle again on an attractive finish.
