2017 Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC Sommossa, Lombardy, Italy

Tart, somewhat herbal and earthy aroma of cherries and rather dark berries with herbal notes as well as floral and mushroom nuances. Clear, quite tight, tart-juicy fruit with fine perlage and youthful, ripe tannins, delicately sweetish on the palate, some cocoa, good substance and persistence, slight warmth, very good, quite juicy and slightly spicy finish with candy notes and herbs
