2016 Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG Il Castelvecchio, Tuscany, Italy

Partly preserved red and black berries on the nose, some cherry and spicy traces. Ripe, quite juicy, but rather tart fruit, fine tannins and some bite, dried vegetal to herbaceous and floral notes, more spicy notes, some warmth and power, good persistence, nutty notes, good to very good, juicy, slightly tobacco and nutty to slightly woody finish.
