2000 Barolo DOCG Riserva Vignolo, Piedmont, Italy

In toller Verfassung.

Editor note: Fairly mature, delicate nose, spicy red berries and slightly medicinal, cedar wood, some vegetal and tarry notes. Harmonious and polished on the palate, elegantly spicy, quite full-bodied fruit, polished but also slightly rough as a result of the prominent tannins, light sweetish notes in the background, already very approachable, quite complex, shows its origins, not particularly deep, but quite charming, both sweetish and tart notes on a long finish.
