2003 Barolo DOCG Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe, Piedmont, Italy

Quite a deep nose, ripe, partly preserved red fruit, light vegetal and earthy notes, some undergrowth, leaves and forest floor. Very juicy and creamy red fruit on the palate, fine tannins, slightly cool acidity, very good persistence, light earthy notes and some old oak, hint of tar, very polished and has some depth, quite firm, becomes even more elegant with aeration, very good long finish.
