2004 AOC Valais Dôle de Salquenen, Wallis/Valais, Switzerland

Slightly stalky nose, light animal notes, red berries and delicate notes of undergrowth. Delicately juicy and gentle red berry fruit, shows a little bite, light vegetal note in the background, lightly roasted, well integrated tannins, has some substance, attractive finish. Good partner with food.
