Cave "la Siseranche" - Maurice et Xavier Giroud
Winery Wines

2004 Chamoson AOC Syrah Les Cigalines, Wallis/Valais, Switzerland

Slightly dissolute but typical aromas of blackberries and cherries, reductive and light lactic notes, some smoked bacon and black pepper. Quite rustic on the palate, with slightly bitter but ripe tannins, also has light roasted aromas, spicy, medium body, restrained red berry fruit, fairly substantial, but slightly lacking in contours, attractive finish.
