Cave "la Siseranche" - Maurice et Xavier Giroud
Winery Wines

2004 Chamoson AOC Tannat Les Cigalines, Wallis/Valais, Switzerland

Nose still quite youthful, prominent blackberry aromas and light cherry notes, some anise. Prominent tannin structure on the palate, typical of the variety, still astringent, equally typical and noticeable acidity keeps the wine fresh and supports the forest berry fruit, not particularly deep but rounded and pleasant to drink, acceptable to attractive finish, slightly acid-dominated.
