2003 Neuenburg/Neuchâtel Neuchâtel AOC Pinot Noir, Three-Lakes Region - Neuchâtel/Neuchâtel, Switzerland

Mature, almost caramelised nose with notes of preserved red and black berries, delicate vegetal note, roasted oak notes in the background. Harmonious in the mouth, with soft creamy fruit of dried dark berries and preserved melon, gentle, very slightly dusty tannins, noticeable sweetness from alcohol and oak, not pushy, but very powerful and full-bodied, needs some time, light bitter note on an otherwise attractive to good finish.
