2000 Reserva, Beiras, Portugal

Light maturation notes on the nose, ripe black berries, preserved cherries, undergrowth and roasted notes. Dark fruit and lively elegant acidity in the mouth, roasted notes, slightly astringent tannins, oaky notes on the palate, some carbon dioxide, good presence, slightly rough and atringent but otherwise attractive finish.
