The "Cellers Capafons-Ossó" winery is located in the municipality of Falset in the province of Tarragona in the Spanish region of Catalonia. It was founded in 1992. The vineyards cover 17.5 hectares of vines in two DO areas with two estates. The "Masia Esplanes" estate in the Montsant area in the Falset valley is influenced by the humid south-westerly "Garbinada" wind, which has a cooling effect on the vines. The Roigenc (a rosé made from Syrah), Vessants (Merlot, Grenache Noir, Cabernet-Sauvignon) and Masia Esplanes (Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache Noir, Syrah) wines are produced here.
The "Mas de Masos" estate in the Priorato area consists of numerous small vineyards in two south-facing valleys. Some of these are integrated into woodland areas, creating a unique microclimate. The older vines are between 60 and over 100 years old. The wines Mas de Masos (Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cariñena), Masos d'en Cubells (Grenache, Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah) and Enllaç (Viognier, Grenache Blanc) are produced here. The four red wines are aged in barriques for at least 12 months, the white wine for 6 months.
