Somewhat developed, woody and tobacco aroma of very ripe red and also black berries, nuts, smoke and a little malt with cooling mineral notes. Ripe, warm fruit and plenty of smoky and toasty wood in the mouth, bacony and nutty flavours, a little bitterish-sooty on the palate, minerality in the background, lots of alcohol, some bite, leathery and malty hints, again alcoholic and woody-bitter in the finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Relativ kühl wirkende Nase nach teils kandierten roten Beeren, Cassis und etwas Kirschen mit kräuterigen und floralen Noten, röstigen Holztönen, Teer und mineralischen Anklängen. Feinsaftige, teils eingemacht wirkende, dabei geschliffene Frucht, etwas bitterschokoladiges Holz mit gewürzigen Noten, feinsandiges, ein wenig trocknendes Tannin, zarter Säurebiss, sehr gute Nachhaltigkeit am Gaumen, viel Kraft, etwas Tiefe, malzige Spuren, merklicher, wärmender Alkohol, hat Griff, marmeladige Töne, sehr guter, herbwürziger, etwas trocknender und wieder alkoholstarker Abgang.
