Clearly developed, somewhat muted, underwoody and somewhat toasty nose with mushroomy, earthy, as well as black and red berry notes and a little soy sauce. Tart, rather dark, mature fruit, smoky, bitterish wood, some sandy and drying tannin, some persistence, again a little soy in the background, warming alcohol, tart, quite woody, a little drying finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Recht herber, straffer, etwas holzwürziger und leicht getrocknet-kräuteriger Duft nach Cassis und ein wenig roten Beeren mit Kirschnuancen, Kräutern, Laub, Tabak und einer Spur Süßholz. Saftig und kräftig im Mund, reife, eher dunkle Frucht mit schokoladiger und nussiger Holzwürze, gewürzige Töne am Gaumen, ein wenig Getreide, nachhaltig, hat Schmelz, aber auch Biss, ganz leicht rustikale Art, wärmender Alkohol, im Hintergrund Mineralik, sehr guter Abgang mit speckigen und vegetabilen Anklängen.
