2015 Assmannshausen Höllenberg Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Light spicy and nutty notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, black and red berries, dried mushrooms, malted traces, earthy and mineral notes. Firm, tart, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, earthy and salty mineral notes, some cardamom spice and dried herbs, firm grip, elegant acid bte, still young and undeveloped, some depth, gripping and quite complex, very good tart, juicy, herbaceous, minerally finish.
