2017 Lorch Kapellenberg Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Clear, fairly fresh, col and polished nose, red berries and a few cherries, floral traces. Tart, fresh, juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty oak, hint of cocoa, fine youthful, fairly taut tannins, touch of peppery spice, prominent mineral notes, persistent, elegant grip, some depth, light toasted notes on a very good, firm, tart, juicy finish.
