2017 Lorch Schlossberg Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Light nutty notes on the nose, hint of dark chocolate, partly dried floral notes, light toasted oak, malteed and mineral notes. Firmly structured red fruit on the palate, light nutty, toasted oak, light acid bite, fine, ripe tannins, persistent, still slightly muted, malted traces, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, salty mineral notes in the background, hint of milk chocolate, light peppery and herbaceous notes, light spicy oak on a very good, firm finish.
