2012 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC, Bordeaux, France

Firm, slightly peppery and herbaceous notes of cherries and predominantly dark berries with paprika notes and delicate floral notes. Clear, tart and juicy fruit, spicy and slightly floral notes, some vanilla and cloves, persistent on the palate, fairly full-bodied and warm, but also polished, fine sandy, mature, youthful tannins, has grip, some paprika in the background, good to very good finish.
