2006 Côtes du Rhone AOC Premier Terroir, Rhône, France

Fairly youthful nose, red berries and herbs, spicy, slightly sharp hint of leeks. Clear and quite juicy on the palate, ripe fruit, light oak, still quite youthful, slightly astringent tannins evenly distributed, fairly creamy, slightly persistent, not particularly deep, but very well made, light oak on a good finish.
