2017 Blaye - Côtes de Bordeaux AOC Justin Merlot, Bordeaux, France

Fresh, lively scent of mulberries and pomegranate with floral, slightly peppery and herbaceous aromas, a little dark chocolate and juniper. Clear, straightforward and quite juicy on the palate, lively fruit, light acid bite, vegetal notes, nutty notes, touch of chocolate, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, fairly persistent, warm alcohol, pomegranate in the background, not particularly deep, good finish.
