2011 Margaux AOC, Bordeaux, France

Fairly tart, slightly fleshy and hint of spicy fragrance, partly preserved black and a little red berries with quite noble sweetish-tobacco and hints of dried-mushroomy aromas. Ripe, juicy fruit with meaty and leathery notes, some dried herbs on the palate, earthy and mineral notes, fine tannins still slightly astringent, persistent, hint of paprika in the background, good substance, a touch of coffee, quite deep, very good finish with dark spice and salt notes.
