2004 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC Grand Cru Classé, Bordeaux, France

Black berries with light herbaceous notes on the nose, roasted notes. Lots of oak on the palate, coffee and roasted aromas, smoky, loads of astringent tannins, dark fruit somewhat pushed aside by the oak, medium-bodied, not particularly deep, attractive finish.
