2007 Cahors AOC Malbec L'Abreuvoir, South-west France, France

Black berries and cherries on the nose, light vegetal traces. Quite tart on the palate, dark fruit, spicy old oak, roasted and smoky notes, some more vegetal notes, fairly prominent and slightly sandy tannins, slightly astringent, but also refreshing, medium body, fairly persistent, good finish.
