2001 Côtes de Castillon AOC, Bordeaux, France

Youthful nose with lots of new oak, prominent balsamic notes, behind this some cherry preserves and black berries. Modern, polished style, oak present, fruit clean and rather smooth, quite fine tannins, appears young, good presence on the palate, fairly creamy, good finish.
