2003 Côtes de Castillon AOC, Bordeaux, France

Sour cherries and black berries, delicate floral notes, roasted and smoky notes. Cool and quite juicy, but still rather dominated by oak, smoky, with dark roasted aromas, quite fine, still astringent tannins, quite a cool style, good presence on the palate, quite full-bodied, roasted and astringent notes on an oak-dominated finish.
