2010 Barsac AOC Grand Cru Classé, Bordeaux, France

Deep, multi-layered and concentrated scent of partly dried and candied yellow fruits with some caramel and honey, yellow floral tones, a hint of herbs, roasted traces and minerality in the background. Very tightly woven, sweet, dense fruit with moderate acidity, floral aromas, caramel and again a little honey, dense, strong and persistent, good depth, multi-layered, tones reminiscent of lime blossom, a little vanilla and light tobacco, behind this minerality that goes into the salty, still undeveloped, very good, juicy, slightly roasted, smoky and yellow-spicy finish with nutty and mineral tones. Must mature.
