The winery is located in Saint-Emilion (Bordeaux) in the same area. This has been owned by the company since 1964 Cordier Gut was sold in 2001 to Gérard Frydman, who sold it only three years later to Bernard Decoster. It is now run by his son Thibaut Decoster, the famous oenologist Michel Rolland engaged as a consultant. The farm is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vines with Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (28%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (8%). The long-lived red wine is aged up to 18 months in 100% new oak barrels. The second wine is called "Prieur des Jacobins".
