The winery is located in the area Médoc
(Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux). It may not with the eponymous winery Château d'Arche
be confused in Sauternes. In the Bordeaux Classification

Since 1994, it has been owned by the family empire Mähler-Besse, today it is managed by Stéphanie Mähler-Faguer. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vines, which are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (5%), Petit Verdot (5%) and Carmenère (5%). The long-lived red wine is aged for 12 months in one-third new barriques.
