It was last classified as "Cru Bourgeois Supérieur" in 2003, according to the old system which is no longer valid. Since 1994, the family empire Mähler-Besse has been owned, today it is run by Stéphanie Mähler-Faguer. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vines, which are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (5%), Petit Verdot (5%) and Carmenère (5%). The long-lived red wine is aged for 12 months in one-third new barriques.
