1989 Pauillac AOC Cinquième Cru Classé, Bordeaux, France

Partly dried red berries, blackcurrants and some plums on the nose, dried herbs and some dried flowers, cigar box, some licorice, salty mineral traces, very light cedary notes, slight sweetish spicy oak. Mature and juicy on the palate, initially quite warm and light aromas, but becomes darker and cooler with aeration, mineral and cedary notes, light roasted notes, sweetish spicy oak, elegantly creamy, silky tannins, persistent, but not particularly deep, some coffee and sweetish chestnut notes, metallic and peppery traces, hint of tobacco, very good finish.
