2003 Loupiac AOC Cuvée 2003 d'Exception, Bordeaux, France

Moderate yellow fruit and some pecan nuts on a restrained nose with a delicate hint of botrytis. Medium fruit with prominent raisiny notes on the palate, with candied and dried Mediterranean fruit, not a lot of depth or substance, but fairly persistent, harmonious in spite of the low acidity, delicate oaky notes on an attractive to good finish, made in a traditional style.
