1998 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Rhône, France

Intense, firm nose, cherries, red berries and mineral notes, lively but also very slightly volatile. Very concentrated, full-bodied and at the same time racy on the palate, juicy fruit, very fine tannins with good presence, persistent and complex on the palate, very long finish.
