2003 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Rhône, France

Shy nose, light smoky notes and old oak, cooked berries and marinated fruit. Simple, fairly juicy fruit, medium-bodied, could do with a bit more depth, overall quite harmonious, integrated ripe tannins, acceptable to attractive finish, but lacks definition and character.
