2003 Rivesaltes AOC "Le Chouchou N°4" Tuilé, Roussillon, France

Garnet to fawn colour. Sweetish nutty notes on the nose, reminiscent of milk chocolate, behind this some preserved cherries and raisins. Fairly simple style, prominent chocolate notes, restrained dried fruit, very sweet with a light acid bite, some sweetish spice, fairly prominent, evenly distributed and slightly astringent tannins, full-bodied but not particularly deep, spicy notes, red fruit and chocolate on the finish.
