2014 Pouilly-Fumé AOC Haute Densite, Loire, France

Firm, finely vegetal and a hint of floral aroma with citrus notes, white and a little blackcurrant, sage, some fresh mushrooms and a little Brussels sprouts with delicately smoky, light barrel tones, minerality and a hint of pepper. Cool, tart and taut, finely juicy fruit with fresh vegetal flavours, lively, polished acidity and smoky nuances, somewhat floral on the palate, again a little mushroom and delicate cabbage notes, persistent, certain power, good depth, clear, light minerality, hints of dark berries in the background, restrained wood spice, multi-layered, very good to long, taut, spicy and very mineral finish with tension.
