2003 Beaujolais-Villages AOC, Beaujolais, France

Fairly mature nose, red berry fruit with notes of preserved cherries. cherry pips and some dark nougat. Quite compact on the palate, delicate tart berry fruit with some plums and nougat, medium-bodied, integrated and very fine-grained tannins, attractive to good finish.
