Fairly shy, still rather closed nose, red berries with some cassis notes, undergrowth. Quite clear on the palate with firm red berry fruit, light herbs and spices, notes of firm plums, has some substance and backbone, well made, attractive, fairly long finish. Needs some time to mature.

Best to drink: 2008-2010+. What our ratings mean
