1994 Pomerol AOC, Bordeaux, France

Slightly developed, firm, deep, greasy, dried-herbal and somewhat meaty scent of black berries and dried tomatoes with tobacco and peppery flavors and a little savory. Concentrated, ripe, juicy and quite spicy fruit with smoky, greasy notes, dried herbs, pepper and dried paprika, on the palate then also freshness, some eucalyptus and ice confection, fine, ripe tannins, a little cocoa, persistent, good depth, despite the rather moderate alcohol a lot of strength, in the background liquorice, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.
