1998 Rivesaltes AOC Ambre 15/10, Roussillon, France

Dried figs and candied fruit on the nose, carob and a light rancio note, delicate caramel. Coffee and cocoa on the palate, candied oranges, dried apricots, exotic spices, licorice and a hint of pimento, has quite a good backbone, not overwhelming, nicely firm and full-bodied at the same time, light mineral traces, shows some life, good finish.
