2004 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC, Bordeaux, France

Preserved blackcurrants on the nose, dried herbs and cedary wood. Clear, tart fruit on the palate, light toasted and cedary wood, some bell peppers and herbs, fine sandy tannins, medium body, fairly creamy, good persistence, has benefited clearly from bottle age, has lost its slightly green notes, quite juicy, very slightly astringent on a good to very good finish.

Editor note: Slightly green, tart nose, red berries, some plums and black berries, vegetal notes. Quitesoft on the palate, predominantly light berry fruit, traces of cherries and plums, light spicy oak, some more vegetal notes, slightly dusty tannins, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
