The winery is located in
Saint-Emilion in the same area (Bordeaux). It is classified as a "Grand Cru Classé". Once it was part of the
Château Figeac (see the history there). It was acquired in 1997 by the Sioën family. The company, which was declassified in 2006, was again classified as "Grand Cru Classé" in 2012. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards with Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). The red wine is aged in 50% new oak barrels. The second wine is called "Prieuré Lamarzelle".
