2001 Margaux AOC Cru Bourgeois, Bordeaux, France

Spicy, slightly smoky nose, black berries and plums, mineral notes. Lots of fruit, tart dusty tannins, spicy on the palate, roasted aromas and a hint of smoke, quite good structure, persistent, still completely undeveloped, good power and length.
