The estate is located 1.5 kilometers southeast of Saint-Emilion
in the same area (Bordeaux). The estate belonged to the former Château Pavie
(see the history there). It was bought in 1997 by the market owner Gérard Perse. The farm is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards with the varieties Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The long-lived red wine is aged for six months in 100% new oak barrels.
