Quite an elegant nose, blackcurrants, red berries and some plums, hint ofcedar and tobacco, light spicy new oak. Clear, cool, straightforward style, elegant and juicy dark fruit on the palate, harmoniously integrated spicy oak, very fine tannins evenly distributed, slightly creamy, very well balanced, attractive to good finish. Much better than the first tasting sample.

Best to drink: 2010-2014+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Clean nose with ripe blackcurrants, chocolate, roasted and some smoky notes. Very clean on the palate, more black berries, judicious use of smoky, roasted oak, quite fine tannins, delicate vegetal nuances, very well balanced, attractive finish.
