Clear, tart, somewhat cedary nose of blackcurrants with slightly old woody and earthy notes as well as tobacco hints. Quite cool in the mouth, tart-juicy, dried-vegetable and quite salty, delicately smoky woody hints, persistent on the palate, has bite, fine tannin, harmonious, has bite, quite slimy, good to very good, tart-juicy and again very slightly ashy finish. Has developed very favourably.

Best to drink: Bis 2020+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Fairly cool nose, still slightly undeveloped, black berries and cherries, delicate hint of tobacco and smoky traces. Clear, cool, straightforward style, dark fruit, delicate vegetal traces, hint of tobacco again, very fine tannins evenly distributed, fairly persistent, still largely undeveloped, very well balanced, good finish. Needs time to develop.
