2001 Saint-Julien AOC Quatrième Cru Classé, Bordeaux, France

Aromas of black cherries and cassis, mineral notes, tart spicy aromas and some cedar wood. Firm and straightforward in the mouth, juicy fruit, fine sandy tannins, a little rustic, fairly undeveloped, quite powerful, mineral notes, very good finish with cedar wood notes. Needs time to mature.
