2003 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Sauvignon Laurenz, Alto Adige, Italy

Dark roasted notes on the nose, preserved black berries. Oak-dominated with roasted notes on the palate, dark, tart fruit in the background, rather dry oak tannins, medium body, smoky notes on the palate, lacks depth, tart, attractive, astringent finish. Fruit develops with aeration.
