2004 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Mirell, Alto Adige, Italy

Black berries and partly dried cherries on the nose, prominent roasted notes, chocolate and coconut, prominent cinnamon. Fruity on the palate with roasted notes, chocolate and cinnamon, restrained citrus notes, very creamy, fairly prominent acidity and noticeable alcohol, slightly sandy tannins, slightly overdone, spicy oak, sweetish chocolate notes on the finish.
