The winery is located in the municipality Göttlesbrunn
in the Lower Austrian wine region Carnuntum
, It has been family-owned since 1659. A Heuriger is connected. The traditional company is run today by Christian and Brigitte Edelmann, who are supported by their parents Anton and Henriette. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards, 50% of which are made with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Gelber Muskateller, and 50 % planted with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. There is a natural, environmentally friendly management. Most of the wines are aged dry in steel tanks, large wooden barrels or barriques, depending on the type of wine. When it comes to red wine, the focus is on the Zweigelt, which is expanded in different ways. The premium wines include Grüner Veltliner Selection, Zweigelt Rubin Carnuntum and the red wine cuvée Edelmann (Zweigelt, Merlot) aged in barrels for 15 months. Around 30,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. There are also brandies (pomace, wine), red wine chocolate, red wine liqueur and jams and wine jelly
produced. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Die Rubin Carnuntum Weingüter.
